Albury Regional Skate Park and Regional Hub

Great way to start the day, out at the ‘soft’ opening of the new Albury Regional Skate Park and Regional Hub which was completed this month and is now open for use by skaters, BMX and scooter riders. Constructed with the support of funding of $636,511 through the NSW Stronger Country Communities Fund, this is a facility to train young people up to Olympic levels!Good to catch up with Simon Watts, youth events officer with AlburyCity and see his enthusiasm to ensure the precinct becomes a centre for our young people, with plans for music, BBQs and safety training among many supportive events.
