CLANCY WELCOMES NEW PREMIER

First, I wholeheartedly congratulate the new Premier of New South Wales, Dominic Perrottet, and as Deputy Leader of the party, Stuart Ayres.

Second, I am pleased that this transition has progressed swiftly and surely, delivering continuity in government and confidence for our road map out of covid.,

The legacy of what has been achieved by Gladys Berejiklian and John Barilaro is in safe hands.

As the Premier said, the last 18 months have been incredibly tough and I firmly believe that NSW will not just recover but will come out the other side of the pandemic much stronger, more creative and flexible, and hungry for life in all its fullness.

The people of NSW have been simply magnificent in facing challenges and restrictions for the common good. I, for one, will never forget this.

Dom Perrottet and Stuart Ayres will bring fresh energy to the implementation of the NSW road map and I look forward to inviting them both to once again visit Albury where they have made many friends, to work with me on the issues that matter to the people of the electorate of Albury.
