Parliament calling on the NSW Government to commit to implementation of the Child Sexual Offence Evidence scheme for the whole of the state.

Out of hurt Rose and Pippa leave a legacy of support of the changes they have brought about. Last night I spoke in Parliament calling on the NSW Government to commit to implementation of the Child Sexual Offence Evidence scheme for the whole of the state. I also urged the government to take this policy to the Standing Council of Attorneys-General and make it national. Care must be taken to see that all regions of the State benefit; that the program is well resourced and training delivered statewide; and that it is supported by providing education for our communities, schools, the legal profession, counsellors, police and all of those who are involved with children and their rights.
