James Fallon Hall

James Fallon High

CONSTRUCTION OF NEW HALL BEGINS AT JAMES FALLON HIGH SCHOOL

Member for Albury Justin Clancy today announced that students are one step closer to benefiting from a new multi-purpose hall at James Fallon High School in Albury with construction now underway.

The hall, due to be complete mid next year, will be delivered for sports, presentations and performing arts purposes with a capacity to accommodate up to 850 people.

Mr Clancy said the upgrade will benefit the whole community.

“I am proud the NSW Government is delivering this important project for James Fallon High School by investing $5.8M into the local community. The new facilities will be able to support a wider performance and sporting curriculum,” Mr Clancy said.

Education Minister Sarah Mitchell said the project was part of the Government’s unprecedented investment into school infrastructure in the State, particularly in regional NSW.

“We are in the midst of an historic construction program to invest in the educational future of our students and to make a difference for school communities like the one at James Fallon High School,” Ms Mitchell said.

“I’m delighted the NSW Government is delivering on this important project.”

The NSW Government is investing $6.7 billion over the next four years to deliver more than 190 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW. In addition, a record $1.3 billion is being spent on school maintenance over five years, along with a record $500 million for the sustainable Cooler Classrooms program to provide air conditioning to schools. This is the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
